The Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry is one of the largest in the world, yet it remains one of the least digitized. While other industries have embraced AI, automation, and modern software to drive efficiency and innovation, the AEC sector has been slow to catch up, still relying on fragmented tools, manual processes, and outdated workflows.

We experienced this firsthand. As AEC professionals, we spent years navigating the inefficiencies: the disconnect between design intent and field execution, the hours lost to manual documentation, the costly errors that only surface during construction. We knew there had to be a better way.

That conviction led us to found ArchitAI at Harvard Innovation Labs, with a clear mission: to bring the power of artificial intelligence to every stage of the AEC workflow. From generative design and scan-to-BIM to automated quality control and AI-powered code compliance, we are building an integrated ecosystem that empowers architects, engineers, and builders to work smarter, faster, and more accurately.

We believe the AEC industry deserves the same technological revolution that has transformed healthcare, finance, and manufacturing. And we are here to make it happen.
